A Car Park For Shaftesbury’s Abbey Primary In Exchange For Housebuilding Approval

A St James resident says he will gift his land to Abbey Primary School so they can build a car park to improve safety alongside the busy B3091 road.

Bill Walsh is proposing a deal. He wants the school governors and Dorset Council planners to support his plans to build two new homes opposite St James’ Church. Then he will offer the land, next to the school.
