Over 1,000 Locals’ Lives Now Listed By Shaftesbury Great War Project Historian

In March 2015, Gold Hill Museum embarked on an ambitious project to research the stories of the residents of Shaftesbury during World War I.

The Heritage Lottery Fund awarded a £6,700 grant towards the ‘Shaftesbury Remembers’ project.
