Here’s Where To Find Community Support…

Help is available for those who are self-isolating or vulnerable. There are very well organised groups of helpers covering our area. Please contact them. Tell them about the person who needs help and they will then make arrangements to support them.

It’s really important that we point people to the ‘official’ volunteer support groups so that nobody who needs help gets left behind. Please ask for help through the agreed channels, someone will see your request and help should be given.

Groups members can deliver shopping and offer additional support. We wrote about the community support groups here: Details

If you need help or can volunteer, call your local rep:

Shaftesbury: Call Jackie Upton King of Shaftesbury Civic Society on 01747 229325 or Shaftesbury Town Hall on 01747 852420.

Motcombe: Call Barney Mauleverer on 07730 496947.

Extra numbers and contacts for Motcombe and Shaftesbury are on our article: Details

Ludwell, Donhead St Mary, Charlton and Birdbush: Call Richard Ecclestone on 07713 686368.
