Community Choir Plans First Concert In Two Years At Shaftesbury Fringe

Shaftesbury Community Choir has often impressed audiences with their ‘wall of sound’ created by over seventy voices.

The group has continued to rehearse online while public singing sessions have not been possible due to the coronavirus restrictions. Organiser Julia Markus explains some of the challenges the choir has overcome during the last year.

At last, they have a performance date in the diary – 28th August. “It would be lovely to see people again. And Shaftesbury Fringe is such a wonderful event,” said Julia.
