Fifteen local artists are displaying their work in a charity exhibition at Donhead St Andrew Church.
The fundraiser supports the food bank charity The Trussell Trust. Co-organiser Lynda Appleby says the idea for the show came out of a project to open up the church to a wider range of users. Lynda talks about her art, which often features water.
Pauline Dawkins-White arranged the exhibition with Lynda. Many Shaftesbury residents will have seen Pauline’s work. She created the stag sculptures on the B3091 roundabout opposite Aldi.
The exhibition continues today, Sunday, and Monday, from 10am to 3pm.
