The Chairman of Shaftesbury Arts Centre, Jenny Parker, has welcomed the government’s decision to loosen COVID-19 restrictions.
Jenny hopes attendance figures will be good for forthcoming shows. “I think people have become more confident with the news of the vaccines,” says Jenny.
The reopening means the Arts Centre can stream two recordings of live plays as part of their new relationship with the National Theatre.
Jenny has already seen ‘War Horse’, which is being shown on 5th December. She has been impressed by the special effects.
And on the 12th December, Phoebe Waller-Bridge stars in the stage version of her hit TV show ‘Fleabag’. Jenny tells us more.
