Shaftesbury Gallery’s Free Exhibition Of Iconic Hunting And Sporting Artist

A gallery near Shaftesbury is hosting a free exhibition of iconic hunting and sporting art by Lionel Edwards, who lived in our area and died in Salisbury in 1966.

This week, Glebe Gallery in Charlton hosts some of his work, including items not previously exhibited. “Many people in their 60s to 80s grew up on the books that he illustrated,” says the gallery’s James Harvey.
