Theatre company, The Festival Players, have been touring outdoor venues across Britain with their production of Henry V. They are in Shaftesbury for the last day of their tour on Sunday at 3pm.
Artistic director Michael Dyer tells Alfred about some of the problems the actors have risen above, because ‘the show must go on’. Michael says the play has been well received because he’s tailored it to make it as engaging as possible.
Tickets are £15 and available from the Abbey or the TIC. The gardens open at 2.30pm. There will be refreshments on sale, and you’re told to take your own low-backed chair or a rug.
