West Melbury artist Gary Cook has been admitted to an elite artistic group after four years on the waiting list.
And one of his pieces has won a prize as the best entrant in a prestigious art exhibition. Unusually, this work doesn’t feature Gary’s trademark portrayal of trees. He swapped ash for a view of Antarctica. But there is a climate emergency message behind the work, as Gary explains.
