Shaftesbury potter and ceramist Clare Copeley-Williams has made a big decision – to sell her own work.
For years, she’s produced beautiful bone china bowls, plates and cups in her professional studio off Bimport for her own satisfaction or for friends and family. Clare received her diploma in 1980 but parenting got in the way of professional pottery. Now, aged 83, she’s decided she wants to sell her work.
It’s not about the money. She wants to find people who want to buy her work. Clare tells Alfred how distinctive shapes and designs will set her work apart when it goes on sale at Kit and Kaboodle.
