Abbey View Staff ‘Borrow’ Vaccines So Flu Clinic Can Open As Planned

Patients attending the first day of the drive-through flu clinic at Henstridge Airfield have been positive about their experience.

Abbey View Medical Centre’s managing partner, Jane Dawes, says her colleagues worked hard to ensure yesterday’s sessions went ahead as planned. Staff received an ‘eleventh-hour’ email to inform them that no vaccines were available in time for the start of the two-week programme.
