Luke Hicks is an incredible man. He sustained serious injuries during a head-on car collision in 2005. Medics were worried that Luke would never walk again.
When Luke emerged from his coma, he proved them wrong. Through sheer determination, he trained to run marathons. And last weekend he completed a gruelling ultramarathon across Dartmoor, his 65th major event.
Luke is also taking on a 26-mile challenge here in Dorset this weekend. He’s raising cash for the Headway charity that helped him recover from the brain injury he sustained in his accident. In our interview, Luke updates Alfred on his training and fundraising.
