Changes For North Dorset Train Passengers Because Railway Staff Are Self-Isolating

Significant numbers of South Western Railway staff are off sick with coronavirus or are absent because they are self-isolating.

It means that the company can no longer run through services from North Dorset and Tisbury to London.

Alfred’s transport correspondent Roy Mitchell says passengers will now need to change trains. It’s yet another hassle for rail users. As we’ve recently reported, the drinks and food trolley service on our local trains have now been scrapped permanently.
