Covid Checks Require Phased Return For Shaftesbury Pupils

The headteacher of Shaftesbury School says her team is coping well with the strict covid-19 safety measures as the new term begins.

Donna London-Hill tells Alfred that ‘there is still a degree of nervousness’ about the virus but the school has ‘got used to this’, and is putting out ‘clear messages to parents, teachers and staff’. She explains how the phased return to lessons is working and says there is currently no need to merge classes because of staff absences.
