The Donhead St Andrew all weather fair is considered one of the best summer events in Wiltshire.
Alfred’s Wendy Reid attended yesterday and spoke with chairman Michael Hocking about the show.
More than 200 residents are involved in putting on the event. Last time, in 2019, 1,500 people attended. Michael estimates that more people went along yesterday.
He explains why villagers are keen to support the air ambulance with some of the money raised. And there’s a clever, democratic way for attendees to vote for their favourite classic car, as Wendy discovered.
