Dorset Police Commissioner Candidate Wants Action On Dog Thefts

The Conservative candidate for the Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner role wants to tackle pet theft.

David Sidwick says he’s spoken with Home Secretary Priti Patel about stricter penalties for people who steal dogs.

In December, Wiltshire Police told Alfred that dog theft was not a major issue in that county. But Mr Sidwick says the crime needs tackling because he’s spoken with worried Dorset residents. He explains what he would do if he is elected.
