Pupils from Shaftesbury School, Shaftesbury Primary, St Andrews in Fontmell and Motcombe Primary have brainstormed ideas about the future use of technology in teaching.
In our report, you’ll hear their interesting suggestions on how artificial intelligence could enhance learning or make pupils’ lives easier.
The students were filmed at The Dorset Centre for Excellence, formerly St Mary’s School. They will be featured in a five-day online event to demonstrate how cutting-edge technology is being employed in business, tourism, agriculture, climate emergency response and education within the Dorset Council area.
Centre of excellence chief operations officer, Mark Blackman, and Shaftesbury School innovation lead, Alex More, both seem impressed at how the pupils embraced the challenge.
The Festival of the Future will stream on the Dorset Council website from the 4th to the 8th of October. You’ll be able to see the students and some Shaftesbury school parents on Tuesday the 5th of October.
