Flooding Response Brings Out The Best Of Shaftesbury Spirit

The torrential rain yesterday afternoon disrupted parts of Shaftesbury. But it also brought out the best of the town’s community spirit.

Enmore Green residents used brooms and garden forks to unblock neighbours’ drains. And Seasons Café owners James and Emily Delport-King joined fellow traders in building a barrier to stop water flooding Cranbornes shop opposite.
