The North Dorset branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England has objected to designs for the proposed housing estate at the side of Wincombe Lane in Shaftesbury.
Barratt was granted permission to build 191 homes back in 2016. Five years later, they’ve changed their designs for the site and submitted a new planning application to Dorset Council for 162 homes.
Jackie Upton King is a representative of the Campaign to Protect Rural England. She explains why she wants Barratt to go ‘back to the drawing board’.
