New Rector For Semley

Semley has a new rector.

The Reverend Kate MacFarlane has been working in the Diocese of St Albans. She is expected to be licensed by the bishop on the first of September and will move to the parish with her husband, a schoolteacher, and her two sons.

The position covers the ‘Benefice of St Bartholomew’ and serves the communities of Donhead St Andrew, Donhead St Mary, East Knoyle, Sedgehill and Semley. There has been a vacancy since last May when Reverend Richard Warhurst left.
