North Dorset Rail Watchdog Wants Local Train Service Improvements

The Salisbury to Exeter Rail Users Group says they’re determined to encourage more people to use the railway through North Dorset and Tisbury when lockdown down restrictions are eased.

Shaftesbury representative Roy Mitchell says increasing the frequency of trains travelling through Gillingham and Tisbury is important. And he says one of the group’s key objectives is reinstating the food and drink service, which was permanently scrapped at the start of the pandemic.
