Shaftesbury Couple Thank Brain Injury Charity With Rowing Machine Fundraiser

There is a good reason why Luke Hicks wants to raise money for brain injury charity Headway.

“They were possibly the main influence on my rehabilitation when I left hospital after my unfortunate accident back in 2005,” Luke told Alfred’s Donna Bernard.

Donna called in to watch a charity row at Ye Old Two Brewers on Sunday. Luke and his partner Catherine Thompson were covering the 22 miles – the distance between England and France – using indoor rowing machines.
