Shaftesbury School Students Represent UK In Education Ideas Forum ‘Hackathon’

Shaftesbury School students have represented the UK in an education ideas forum.

Three year 11 pupils – Isabela Perez, Esme James and Henry Slatter – joined young people from eleven countries including Sweden, India, Germany and the UAE for the global online event known as a ‘Hackathon’.

Isabela Perez, Esme James and Henry Slatter take part in ‘Hackathon’.

Teacher Clare Barratt says the trio researched how we learn, how the brain changes during adolescence and how we can maximise learning based on their findings.
