Bedchester’s Arctic explorer, Pen Hadow, has experienced long periods of self-isolation. He undertook a solo trek from Canada to the Geographic North Pole.
Pen tells Alfred how he has found the last ten weeks of lockdown very different and, in some ways, more difficult. But there has been a positive outcome. Pen has had time to study North Dorset’s nature.
He shares his wildlife discoveries and a new fascination with miner bees. “You don’t have to go to the Arctic and the North Pole to discover interesting things,” Pen laughed.
