‘Socially Connecting Shaftesbury’ Launch Mental Health Drop-In Series

Two Shaftesbury mental health support campaigners are joining forces for a series of events in the Town Hall and Father’s House in October and November.

Amanda Moira and Melanie Costas have successfully applied for National Lottery funding to host Socially Connected Shaftesbury – a series of drop-in events. The women explain why mental health provision is now harder to access in North Dorset compared with a decade ago.

The Wednesday 27th October session runs from 10.30am and on Thursday 28th October, an event will be held between 2pm and 7pm. Additional daytime sessions are planned for Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th October, during the first week of November and on the 17th and 19th of that month.
