Members of Shaftesbury Ladies FC have started a fitness and fundraising challenge for the lockdown.
Thirty-six of their members will cover the equivalent of a return trip from Shaftesbury to Disneyland Paris, twice! That is 1,600 miles.
Emma Stranger says the women are running or cycling to raise cash to buy gifts for sick children in hospital.
Although all of their games are suspended during the lockdown, Emma says the future looks bright for Shaftesbury Ladies FC. The plans for an all-weather pitch mean the women will not face cancelled Sunday matches because Saturday matches have made the grass too muddy.
