Dorset Planners Approve Lidl’s Shaftesbury Store For A Second Time

Lidl has overcome another hurdle in their plan to open a Shaftesbury store. Dorset Council has approved the supermarket’s latest planning application.

Lidl submitted amended plans after rival Tesco threatened to launch a judicial review over Lidl’s proposal for a store on the former cattle market site.
