The fastest internet access will soon be available in the villages and hamlets to the south and south-west of Shaftesbury, potentially transforming business and leisure activity.
North Dorset-based independent provider Wessex Internet are currently meeting landowners to discuss where the company can run its cables. Guys Marsh and homes and businesses in the Melbury Abbas, Compton Abbas and Fontmell Magna parishes are being upgraded to fibre. Semley and Sedgehill could be next on the list.
