Pubs, restaurants and the accommodation sector can reopen from 4th July.
General manager of Shaftesbury’s Grosvenor Arms, Sam Hill, tells The Alfred Daily how his hotel’s staff have addressed the new social distancing requirements. The dining area will be extended, a new drinking space will be added, and the Grosvenor will become cash-free.
Bex Moody is the landlady of Shaftesbury’s Ship Inn. She welcomes the relaxation of restrictions but advises pubgoers that their experience in all local licensed premises will feel very different. “It won’t be ‘The Ship’ as it was,” says Bex.
