Shaftesbury Christmas Light’s Will Include Tribute To Ray Humphries MBE

Volunteers put up Shaftesbury’s town centre Christmas trees yesterday.

James Thrift from the Chamber of Commerce explains why the decorations are particularly important this year.

Chamber member Rob Neely says there are plans to remember Christmas lights organiser Ray Humphries MBE, with a special tribute when the festive lights are turned on in December.

James and Emily Delport-King helped prepare the trees for this first time. The couple have just moved to Shaftesbury and will open their new café, Seasons, in the former High Street bakery. Emily has news on their plans.
