Shaftesbury’s BV Dairy has seized the opportunity of one of the lockdown successes stories – home meal kits.
The family-run business is supplying sachets of milk and sour cream which can be used for inclusion in the packages of measured ingredients and recipes delivered to customers. Operations director Josh Heydon explains how the company has embraced changing consumer demand during the lockdown.
BV Dairy is investing heavily in new equipment at its Wincombe Lane premises. The investment will mean more new business and that will lead to additional employment and skills training opportunities for Shaftesbury area residents. But Josh says the company is mindful of the need to set an example as a sustainable local business, as BV Dairy grows.
