Each year, environmental campaigner Pippa Mukherjee splits her time between her Shaftesbury home and her cottage in India.
Pippa has lived in the Kodaikanal area for over 30 years and she is heavily involved in campaigns to conserve and protect the mountains surrounding her Tamil Nadu area home.
When she is in India, the former nurse teaches students about conservation and the environment. Eighty-year-old Pippa is also currently writing her fourth book on Indian flora and fauna.
When she is in Shaftesbury, Pippa volunteers with the Hill Top Litterpickers. During our chat, Pippa shares stories of the unusual things she’s found at the roadside.
