Half a dozen volunteers put on waders and entered the waters of the River Nadder on Tuesday.
They were all taking part in the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust programme to remove the invasive weed, Himalayan balsam, from the riverbanks.
Nick Wilson is the water team project officer. He tells us why removing this plant is so important. Nick also explains why the Nadder, as a chalk stream, is such an important watercourse.
