It’s easy to miss the enchanting wooded area, Bury Litton, at the top of Shaftesbury’s St John’s Hill.

The site is rich in history and biodiversity, as historian Matthew Tagney and wildlife expert Mariko Whyte explain to Alfred’s Nick Crump.
