Shaftesbury Town Council has objected to plans to build a house on a 217sqm plot next to the Rolt Millennium Green on St James Street.
This is the latest in a series of applications for this site in recent year. They have all been refused or withdrawn.
The applicant says she’s taken the feedback from planners into account. The design of the two-bedroom home would now reflect nearby, traditional-style properties instead of following a modern design.
Mayor, Cllr Andy Hollingshead, said this remained ‘an unsuitable location’.
