Melbury Abbas Councillors Determined To Fight Dinah’s Hollow Plans

Last night, Melbury Abbas Parish Council voiced their opposition to Dorset Council’s decision to spend £4.3m ‘stabilising’ Dinah’s Hollow.

“It is too destructive, too drastic and unnecessary,” said parish chairman William Kenealy.

Cllr Jenny Weston suggested questioning how Dorset Council was able to pursue an HGV weight limit on Shaftesbury’s St John’s Hill when large lorries are encouraged to use the C13 road.
