Council chairman William Kenealy hopes Melbury Abbas and Cann’s Neighbourhood Plan can be put to the public vote soon.
It’ll be one of William’s final tasks for the council. He’s told members of his intention to resign because he is relocating to Cornwall. William hopes that whoever follows him will take up the campaign against Dorset Council advising southbound HGVs to use the C13 road.
Parish councillors have some issues with Shaftesbury Town Council too, as you’ll hear in our report.
