No Legal Challenge To Planned Housing Estate On Shaftesbury’s Northern Slopes

There doesn’t appear to be a way to launch a successful legal challenge to a planned new housing estate on Shaftesbury’s northern slopes at Enmore Court.

Shaftesbury Town Council agreed to spend up to £2,500 to get a barrister’s opinion on whether the Planning Inspector’s decision could be challenged in the High Court.

Cllr Andy Hollingshead says he’s disappointed, but the Town Council maintained its objection to the plans and did all it could do.
