Shaftesbury Council Amend Hire Fees To Reflect COVID Challenges

Shaftesbury Town Council has reduced or waived charges for renting their property to reflect the challenges caused by coronavirus.

They say the Tai Chi group can use Castle Green for free.

During the debate, rates as high as £110 for the hire of the open space had been suggested. And a High Street clothing retailer, who claims to have suffered a loss of income due to pedestrianisation, has been offered a cut price Town Hall rental rate for an excess stock sale.
