A Shaftesbury town councillor has accused estate-builder Redrow of ‘manipulating’ their estate proposals, ‘to the point where this is not the original plan’.
John Lewer told last night’s Town Council meeting that Redrow had not honoured agreements made over the landscaping, layout and design of their Littledown development.
Redrow now want to build 41 extra homes on the southern part of their land. That’s nine more houses than the 32-home estate extension recently approved by Dorset Council. Permission to build 170 new homes was granted as part of the original application.
