Shaftesbury Councillors Feel Their Latest Estate Objection Is Stronger

Shaftesbury Town Council has objected to plans for 23 homes at Enmore Court, once again. The plans were first announced in 2018.

Nylo Homes has lodged a planning appeal over their estate proposal, because Dorset Council hasn’t decided the application in time. Two town councillors believe their objection to the development on Shaftesbury’s northern slopes is stronger now. Listen to our report to hear why.

Motcombe Parish Council has also objected to these plans previously, but their councillor who oversees planning believes it is inevitable that the estate will be eventually gain planning approval.
