Councillors have opposed plans for a new holiday home in Shaftesbury.
The Shaftesbury Neighbourhood Plan encourages tourism developments that respect and reinforce Shaftesbury’s character. But proposals to create a large tree house featuring decking, a hot tub, a bath and small kitchen didn’t appeal to the Town Council’s Planning Committee last night.
