Councillor Wants Action On Shaftesbury Accident Hotspot And Sweetmans Road ‘Rat Run’

Councillor Derek Beer is concerned about the frequent car crashes on the bend on the B3081, below the A30 flyover in Shaftesbury.

Bill Sheriff, who lives nearby, has sent Dorset council, Dorset Police and elected representatives a dossier of photos of vehicles that have smashed into the wooden fence at the side of the Motcombe Road. Bill is sometimes first on the scene of these collisions.
