Hanna Sampson and Mollie Mogridge launched their new Pamplemousse business in March last year, six days before the first national lockdown.

It was a terrible time to start a venture. Yet the women rose to the challenge and developed a loyal following for their flowers and cakes. Yesterday, they opened a new shop and café in a larger unit in a more prominent position, opposite the car park entrance on Bell Street.
