Shaftesbury’s Kings Arms reopens today. The pub attracts a younger crowd as our town’s latest opening licenced premises.
Landlord Chris Hill says he takes his responsibility seriously and regulars will notice tight controls. “I don’t want to be the venue that brings COVID into Shaftesbury,” he says.
Chris has chosen not to return home from Spain yet, because of the UK quarantine rules. He shares his concerns about reopening but says he is full of praise for his brewery, Dorset-based Hall and Woodhouse, claiming they are ‘Britain’s best’.
